TERMS OF USE 

Welcome to Limitless, where we are dedicated to providing accessible and empathetic support and  services for your mental health and well-being for youths in Singapore. Please carefully review these Terms of Use before accessing or utilizing our services. Your use constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services. 

1. Scope of Services: At Limitless, we offer a comprehensive range of counselling and psychotherapy services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Whether you prefer in-person sessions at our centres or online sessions via Zoom—or wherever you feel most comfortable—we are here to support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.  Some of our services are supported by the Agency of Integrated Care Pte. Ltd. (“AIC”) and/or other relevant agencies/service providers. 

2. Contact Us: For any enquiries or assistance, please submit your request via our Get Help page. We will respond promptly to offer support. For other general enquiries, please reach out via our Contact page. 

3. Appointment Booking: Sessions can be conveniently booked through our Get Help page.  

4. Confidentiality of Personal Information 

We recognize the importance of confidentiality in counselling. All information shared with Limitless will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for therapy, except where disclosure is required by law or in cases of imminent danger. Information may be disclosed: 

  • With your written or verbal consent for onward referral, 

  • When there is perceived imminent danger, harm to others, or attempted suicide, 

  • For staff supervision and service improvement. 

5. Keeping of Records: We maintain graphical and textual documentation of sessions. If video or audio recording is needed, we will inform you and obtain your consent. All records will be securely destroyed five years after the last session. 

6. Privacy Policy: Protecting your privacy and safeguarding your Personal Information is a top priority for us. We adhere to strict privacy practices and procedures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. You understand that for services supported by AIC, Limitless and AIC will handle Personal Information in accordance with their respective policies, and you also consent to AIC’s use of your information as set out in its Data Protection Policy.  

7. Professional Standards: All employees at Limitless adhere to the Code of Ethics outlined by the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW), where appropriate, to the work done at Limitless. Where the Code of Ethics SASW does not align with your best interests, or does not provide reference in instances of ethical dilemmas, Limitless shall apply the Ethical Principles Screen and/or other established screening tools to make a decision. 

8. Onward Referral: Should Limitless deem it necessary to refer you to another service provider, Limitless will first inform you and seek consent from you before making the referral. 

9. Consent: You consent to the terms set out on this page and agree that Limitless, AIC and/or other relevant agencies/service providers (each a “Cooperating Party” and collectively the (“Cooperating Parties”) may:  

  • Collect personal information about you or your loved ones, including information retrieved from relevant IT systems (i.e. “Personal Information”), from you or any of the other Cooperating Party; 

  • Disclose such Personal Information to any of the other Cooperating Parties and 

  • Use Personal Information, for the following purposes (“Purposes”):  

    • Evaluating you or your loved one’s suitability and eligibility for the services offered by any Cooperating Party at any time; 

    • Administration and provision of the services offered by any Cooperating Party; and/or 

    • Data analysis, evaluation and policy formulation, in anonymised form.  

10. Legal Disputes Between Clients and Limitation of Responsibility: Limitless will not participate in any legal disputes between clients. We are not liable for actions taken by clients resulting directly or indirectly from our services. 

11. Withdrawal of Services: Limitless reserves the right to cancel services, events, or notices without prior warning, and will notify you as soon as practicable. We may also discontinue services or discharge clients where: 

  • There is a fundamental therapeutic breakdown or irreconcilable difference in perspectives that adversely affects the counselling process; or 

  • Continuing therapy puts the safety of our staff or volunteers at risk. 

Limitless reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate your access to any of its online services if your conduct is considered harmful or incompatible with a positive therapeutic environment for other clients. 

12. Availability of Services: While we strive for uninterrupted service, disruptions may occur due to maintenance or unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your patience. 

13. Client Withdrawal or Limiting of Consent to Terms of Counselling: Clients wishing to withdraw or limit consent to any terms should write to us at hello@limitless.sg with full particulars. 

14. Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Limitless from any liabilities, damages, claims, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or use of our services. 

15. Change of Terms: We may amend these Terms at any time. Revised terms will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately. Continued use indicates acceptance. 

16. Governing Law: These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. 

17. Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of the Republic of Singapore, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.
