SAFEHOUSE: A LIMITLESS DISCORD SERVER FOR YOUTHS AGED 13 - 25

Hello!

Meet Cheyenne, Natalie and Priscilla – the mental health professionals behind SAFEHOUSE. Made exclusively for youths aged 13 to 25. We’re an online community that is inclusive, non-judgmental and (hopefully) fun. Most importantly, we’d like you to be your truest self.

In-server, you can chat privately with our trained mental health support staff or connect with other users & listeners with varying interests on similar journeys. Everyone’s a work-in-progress and we believe that a supportive community can bring meaningful change to your life.

FAQ / SAFEHOUSE Information

  • Discord is a voice, video and text chat app that's used by tens of millions of people ages 13+ to talk and hang out with their communities and friends. SAFEHOUSE was created on discord to provide accessible mental health resources and information while allowing youths to speak without barriers anonymously. The SAFEHOUSE team consists of a Peer Support Specialist, an Associate Psychologist and a Counsellor.

  • Since its establishment in April 2021, SAFEHOUSE has been bridging the gap and providing support to youths who might have otherwise missed out on help. We've created a secure and welcoming environment for youths to connect and share their experiences, while our dedicated volunteer listeners offer additional emotional support.

With our carefully curated mental health channel, staffed by trained Limitless professionals, we can connect youths with both short and long-term counselling options, both within and outside our organization.

Our ultimate goal is to break down the barriers that hinder youths from seeking help in Singapore, ensuring that support is accessible and readily available when they need it most.

  • While SAFEHOUSE is affiliated with Limitless Singapore, a youth non-profit organisation that works with mental health. The server's focus extends beyond just mental health topics. Users are encouraged to interact with each other on a wide range of subjects.

While we have a dedicated mental health section for more specific conversations, the rest of our space can be used to freely discuss everything from TV shows, school, music, games, memes and general life.

There may be instances where triggering subjects are brought up. In such cases, listeners are available alongside the SAFEHOUSE team to assess and provide necessary intervention, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all users.

  • In the spirit of fostering a close-knit community, SAFEHOUSE organizes monthly online entertainment nights featuring games, movies and music parties within voice channels. Opportunies to try new things through official Limitless partnerships and events arise from time to time, including activities like attending concerts to learning a new skill. Additionally, during its anniversary week in April, SAFEHOUSE hosts an online party, where users have the chance to win fun and exciting prizes.

In the event of any server or discord violations, the Limitless team has the right to take appropriate actions to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users.
